The piano can be so many things: a quiet poetic voice of the soul, the life and soul of the party, a full orchestra! There are limitless sounds and styles that can be conjured out of the piano. With a little dedication it can become your friend for life.
The piano is a great way to discover about music in general. Not only can you play great tunes but you accompany yourself with rhythms and harmonies too. So piano lessons are also music lessons first and foremost.
The piano can be a social instrument. I will introduce students to techniques for improvisation and playing by ear. This could be the launchpad for creative collaborations with friends, family and fellow students.
